Introduction
80CrV2 Spring Steel is a high-carbon spring steel that is ideal for saws and knives.
It is essentially a 1080/ C75 / CS80 / 1.2235 steel with additional chromium, nickel, and vanadium. This means higher hardnesses can be achieved after heat treatment.
